Coriander Whole

Whole coriander is the dried seed of Coriandrum sativum—small, round, brownish-yellow seeds with a warm, citrusy and slightly earthy flavour. Used across many cuisines for its aroma, it can be added whole for pickling or dry-toasted before grinding for curries, marinades, soups, stews and even some baked goods. It differs from fresh coriander leaves (cilantro), which have a brighter, more lemony taste.
